As just as sad.
My baby is going to college. She is so much more than my daughter. We are the best of friends. She has helped me move past my comfort zone in so many ways. She is also my staunchest supporter.
She's worked hard to get to this place. And she deserves it. And she will rock it.
But, I am already missing her.
I'm slicing it up with Two Writing Teachers for the month of March. The goal is to write something each day in March.
Wow! Yale! Congrats to her (and you...proud mama)!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! How exciting for this next chapter of life to unfold! I can't imagine how hard it would be, but it sounds like you will be in close touch for sure!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your daughter, you must be so proud!
ReplyDeleteI totally get the bitter sweetness of this. My daughter is finishing up her senior year, so I can tell you that the first year is the worst. It gets better though and she will just bloom in ways you simply can't even imagine!
I have been in your shoes when my Kiddo went to college and you will find it will all be great - different but great.
